A Healthy Legacy for Minnesota Kids

We need to get kids moving again. Eating better. Building lifelong habits. That’s why the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee is turning this one-day event into a lasting legacy. To build a healthier, more active, life-changing future for all of Minnesota’s children.

We’re counting down to Super Bowl LII with a 52 Weeks of Giving campaign that focuses on three things that can really help our kids thrive: fun, fuel, and fundamentals. We’re channeling our resources to help create a more healthier and more active Minnesota for everyone, especially our kids.

Our Legacy Fund is a 501©3 charitable effort, working in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health’s Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP). Based on the recommendations of their community heath boards, we’re providing 52 grants to community projects across our state.

And because nothing fuels learning like a healthy breakfast, we’re also providing Super School Breakfast to these communities to help expand access and encourage healthy habits for a lifetime.

Join us every week starting in February 2017 as we kick off our signature initiatives, including 52 Weeks of Giving to communities across Minnesota.

The work of the Legacy Fund is made possible by Minnesota’s philanthropic community, including foundations, corporations, and individual donors who share our passion for improving the health and wellness of kids from every corner of our state. If your organization is interested in giving to be part of the Legacy Fund, please contact Dana Nelson.
